Hotel Grounds

All around the hotel you’ll spot the hotel’s iconic green penguin statues. These green penguins are 4 feet tall and are made out of recycled plastic. They serve as an important reminder of environmental conservation and sustainability. Guests are encouraged to move the penguins around the hotel grounds, taking them to their room or even while eating a meal at the onsite restaurant, The Hive. Hotel employees are often playing tricks with the penguins putting them around the halls, elevators, or stairwells!

The hotel lobby will instantly convince you to take a seat on the winding comfortable couch as you wait to check in or to take a break while touring the galleries.

Museum Exhibit

Immediately on your arrival, you will notice intriguing works of art outside of the hotel entrance. Orange Tree, a large sculpture that resembles basketball hoops and Making Change, a Fleetwood Cadillac limousine covered in coins – from the top, you will notice that it says 21c!

Inside the hotel, there are surprising art pieces in every corner of the 12,000 square feet of exhibition space. However, the art at 21c Bentonville isn’t limited to the exhibition space – you’ll also find interesting pieces in your hotel rooms, The Hive restaurant, outdoor patio areas, and on each floor of the hotel (make sure you stop at each one!). Another bonus? The museum exhibits are free for guests and to the public 365 days/year. Exhibitions change often but regardless of when you visit, you are sure to find some thought-provoking and inspiring works of art.

Museum Shop

The Museum Shop has souvenirs and gifts for anyone to purchase take home from their visit, including pet supplies, apparel, bed, kitchen and bath items and home decor – you can even purchase your own green penguin if you wish!

Inside the museum shop, there are a variety of products perfect for your pet. These can be purchased at the 21c Museum Hotel’s online store.

The Hive Restaurant + Bar

The Hive, led by Chef Matthew McClure, is the perfect spot for any meal or a late-night cocktail. We dined at The Hive for their Saturday morning brunch and enjoyed the BMF Chicken on a Biscuit pared with perfectly seasoned skillet potatoes, the Stone Fruit French Toast with bourbon peaches and candied pecans, and signature refresher beverages like the Farmer’s Tan with notes of watermelon, grapefruit, lime & mint. Regardless of your entrée choices, your taste buds are sure to be singing after enjoying a meal at The Hive! Thinking about getting breakfast in bed? In-room dining can also be arranged!

OMG! When I think of Bentonville, I never imagined such a progressively styled hotel! I’m from MS, so I hope I get a pass for saying that about Bentonville! 😉

I’m an aspiring honeybee farmer, so naturally, I adored The Hive’s decor! It’s just too stinkin’ much! 😀

That pupper of yours is super cute, too, by the way!

Can I just say that because of this hotel, I actually want to plan a trip to Bentonville? Is that weird? LOL

What a cool thought to bring so much culture to the hotel! And the Hive looks like a pretty awesome place to hang out and enjoy a great meal!

This places looks absolutely amazing!! I would love to go on a green penguin hunt! Honey is my love language (it should be it’s own food group) and bees fascinate, so Hive would be all kinds of my place! Definitely adding this to my Arkansas bucket list!
